High Moisture Ear Corn Harvest near Bad Axe Michigan
In this video I am out in the field north of Bad Axe Michigan as they chop high moisture ear corn for silage Class Jaguar 970 990 self propelled forage harvesters with 12 row corn heads (Case IH Gerringhoff) to harvest the corn. This process pretty much takes in the completed ear of corn where it is hauled back to the farm and pushed and packed onto a silage pile and will be used to feed the farms holstein steers over the next year. This farm also runs a Versatile 520 tractor and a Versatile 610 track tractor (Delta Track) and I was able to get some footage of the 520 pulling a chisel plow and will have an upcoming video of that.
