LIVE: UAEs orbiter set to reach Mars marking Arab worlds first mission to the planet

Credit to UAE Space Agency The United Arab Emirate s orbiter AlAmal or Hope is set to reach Mars on Tuesday, February 9 marking the Arab world s first mission to the red planet. After entering Mars orbit, the unmanned spacecraft will start circling the equator, allowing to build a detailed picture of the planet every nine days, including spots on the surface at every time of the day.
