Banning words like mum and dad is linguistic engineering to reset language
Broadcaster Kel Richards says an American school principal who banned students from using the words mum and dad is linguistic engineering to reset the language people use. Theyve been told to call them the parents, the folks, the family, anything other than mum and dad and the principal of the school had said what hes trying to do is, I think his expression is to reset the language, he told Sky News host Peta Credlin. Mr Richards had said this was used by the communist regime in Maoist China and was called language proplanning for a different society to control how the population thought.
