(Postcard from the burbs RE: heymacs 10th music flick) The guys never heard back from The Kid s office (see video, 7) but still thought they oughta get out in front of an audience. An invitation to head uptown to play a little gettogether of friends seemed like a perfect opportunity. The weatherman messed up and a predicted downpour turned into a gorgeous evening around the campfire. The guys were happy to have old pal Rusty Nales sit in for their first attempt at a gorgeous ballad that Doc brought to the band. Rusty hasn t played with them since their very first outing ( You ll Never Walk Alone ). All in all, a cool experience, leaving the boys wanting to see their next gig sooner than later. It s been a pretty hot summer and living out in nature ain t as romantic as ya might think. . so, please feel free to assist your local shelter, OK)
