Danish Hussars Training for Russian Invasion of the Baltic EN SUB
About 1. 000 Danish soldiers are currently stationed in the Baltic as part of the NATO Enhanced Forward Presence. 750 Danish soldiers are stationed in Camp Niflheim, close to Riga in Latvia, and 220 Danish soldiers are stationed in Estonia. The core of the current deployment consists of the 1st Armoured Infantry Battalion of the Guard Hussar Regiment. The 1st Armoured Infantry Company Vidar practised urban combat, while the 2nd Mechanised Infantry Company Ultra trained clearing of trenches.
