Berisha Penalty A League Grand Final 2011 12 vs Perth Glory 3 D

Besart Berisha s penalty in the dying minutes of the 201112 ALeague Grand Final. The decision to award the penalty was extremely controversial, with replays seeming to show that Berisha was not fouled by the Perth defenders, and in fact air swung at the ball and tripped over himself. After he converted from the spot, there was little time left for Perth to get a goal and take it to extra time. The referee for the game was Jarred Gillett.
