ICE Raids: Protesters tear gassed by federal agents

Several federal agents were seen at a farm in Santa Barbara, California. Video from the scene shows multiple people confronting agents on the road near the field. It appears tear gas and smoke bombs were thrown into the crowd. While multiple raids have occurred at local farms, in midJune Trump slightly changed course on his immigration policy, vowing to protect farmworkers. Community members clashed with agents in Carpinteria in response to the raids. U. S. Congressmember Salud Carbajal (DCA) was denied entry in an interaction caught on video. Rep. Carbajal spoke out against the immigration enforcement efforts and criticized Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for her role in the raids.
