Pivot sensor research project

BSE Associate Professor Derek Heeren, along with graduate student Sandeep Bhatti and undergraduate research assistant Eric Wilkening, used thermal and multispectral center pivot sensors to gather crop data in a research project published June 2022. Their findings could have positive impacts for farmers looking to optimize irrigation methods and maximize resources.
