Bird Mouth Joinery: the 8 side router bit

Bird mouth joinery permits easy construction of unique and unusual eightsided vessels via simple edge routing. The 8side router bit is shown to produce lozenge, diamond, oval, square, rectangular and trapezoid shapes, as well as regular octagons.
