Alices Circus Daze (1927)

Hey look Another Alice Comedy It s a circus cartoon that doesn t focus on people trying to sneak into the big top. Rather, pervy Peeking Toms keep trying to ogle Lois Hardwick as she gets ready for her high wire act. Nice touch there, Walt crew We have to sit through lots of animation cycles of various animals doing various circusy things (That laughing clown sequence will haunt your dreams ) before a bizarre lion taming act gets some screen time. Alice and Julius finally get to do their highwire act and I gotta say, Lois s comedic takes as she teeters on her chair are topnotch.
