Chinese Space Pioneer Tianlong 2 rocket maiden launch, 2 April 2023 ( Launch Campaign Overview)

Source: Space Pioneer via The successful launch of the 1st Tianlong2 rocket by Beijing based private company Space Pioneer from Chinas Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on April 2, 2023 at 08:48 UTC. This is the first liquid fuel (mostly kerosene, liquid oxygen) based orbital launch vehicle by a Chinese private company to reach orbit, and is the largest rocket by any worldwide private company to reach orbit on the 1st try since SpaceXs Falcon 9 and Orbital Sciences Antares. This video shows the launch campaign, on board video camera feeds and LCC scenes. The rocket managed to reach a 500 km high Sunsynchronous Orbit about 15 minutes after launch.
