Video shows Linda OLearys speedboat collision in fatal crash

Footage from surveillance cameras show Linda O Leary s speedboat collision. The first camera is the view from Irv Edwards cottage. The second camera is the view from a security camera at the dock of the O Leary cottage on Aug. 24, 2019, the night of a fatal collision on Ontario s Lake Joseph. In the middle of the background the light moving from left to right is the O Learys speedboat. It drives past what was described as the fixed point of light on an island behind them and then suddenly stops and bounces back. Court heard this was the moment of impact with a boat where two people were killed. Court has focused on whether the second boat was adequately lit at the time. The boat is only visible on the video after the crash, when lights suddenly appear.
