Grime Cypher UK x Brazil, Fleezus, Febem, Jevon, Eyez + Yizzy

Sao Paulos Febem and Fleezus join forces with the cream of the UK grime scene Jevon, Eyez and Yizzy to bring these different sides of the world together. Grime exploded out of London in the early 00s, but as it tipped from the underground into the mainstream, it also spread globally, sparking homegrown scenes in countries around the world. More recently, its settled in Brazil, where upandcoming MCs like Febem, Fleezus and Leall as well as producers like Cesrv are blending familiar grime sounds with more typically Brazilian genres like baile funk. Says Cesrv: It feels as though grime belongs here it already operates at a similar BPM to baile funk. Its getting bigger with people like Febem and Fleezus there are at least four shows a month these days. He mentions that kids are really paying attention to it
