I thought this simple but beautiful piece was the perfect accompaniment to a sonnet I wrote called, At Portichol. The poem was originally inspired by Josie Elias Moonrise Over Portichol photo. Portichol is a small island off the Costa Blanca, Javea, Spain. One of my favourite places to go walking Here are the words to the poem: The sea has never looked so calm I think. The moon, white phoenix, rising from the sands and you and I standing on the brink where gulls wheel slowly and the headland casts its shadows from red cliffs into green.
