Ksenia Barbasheva Alexander Taranov (of the Perm Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre) perform Alexey Miroshnichenkos pas de deux Nocturne on the Russian Culture Television production of Bolshoi Ballet Big, Grand Ballet). This piece is truly astounding. The more I see of Miroshnichenkos work, the more spellbound I am by the intricacies of his choreographic style. This piece is particularly striking. It is one that requires a minute to recover after the dance ends. I made a few edits to the video performance and changed the music to the song Idiotique by Radiohead. However much I love this song and dance together, it could never hold a candle to the dance as it is set to its actual music. So please watch the real thing
