Serot Johannes Holopainen Hearts

Second part of a three video sequel that form an infinite loop through a dramaturgical paradox that takes place in Berlin city streets, parks and the underground. Each of the three videos has a particular theme and each one features a different vocalist. In this video the character of Johannes Holopainen experiences an adventure around the streets of Berlin after finding a crystal from a hoodie lost by a stranger. In attempt of returning it to the owner he ends up in a loop of appearing all around the city and finally looses the crystal. The philosophy behind the concept of the infinite loop is to apply the essence of electronic music to the platform. Loop is in the core of the art that happens between human and machine. We celebrate it by rediscovering it through new mediums. Youtube makes it natural to repeat the same content through looped paths guided by algorithms. This has not been the way we experience music before.
