F. Chopin Nocturne Op. 55 no. 1 in F minor Performed by Aaron Dunn. ,Chopin, Nocturne, classicalmusic, Chopin Nocturnes op. 55 (composed in 1843, published in 1844, dedicated to Jane Stirling) are diverse. The first of these is close to the earlier plays of this genre, based on dramatic contrast. The second reveals some typical features of the creative features of the third period. Nocturne fmoll. The stubbornly and repeatedly repeated intonation of the first two bars (a characteristic turnover of the sentimentalromantic type) is contrasted with the dramatic accents of the middle part and the bright appeasement of the coda. The nocturne contains many intonational rehashings from earlier works by Chopin (bars 1720 compare the middle part of the impromptu Asdur; bars 2224 compare the trio of the funeral march from the bmoll sonata; bars 6567 compare the first theme of the same march; measure 89 and beyond compare the end of the Fmoll fantasy).
