Oscars 2024 nominations: Oppenheimer leads the pack with 13 nominations

As predicted, the Academy Award nominations followed the Golden Globes and the Baftas by showering Christopher Nolans talky, threehour history lesson, Oppenheimer, with affection, only more so, with 13 nominations. Yorgos Lanthimoss Poor Things follows with 11 nominations while Martin Scorseses Killer of the Flower Moon has ten. Barbie, after it was essentially slighted by the Baftas, has eight.
