Formed in 1985 as part of the burgeoning grindcore movement, Extreme Noise Terror s first claim to fame is that they were signed to Manic Ears records after their debut gig. This was quickly followed by their first release a split LP with Chaos UK entitled Radioactive. By 1987 they had become a favourite of John Peel who went on to give them no less than three sessions, the first and last of which were released on Strange Fruit.
