This historical street, which is the core of the World Heritage Site of A City, was established in 2000 and has developed into a famous cultural tourist attraction. The original meaning of Jīcháng jiē is derived from the Minnan language Jiechang Street, as the famous Chinese diplomatic envoy Cheng Ho made seven ocean voyages and was stationed in Malacca six times more than 600 years ago, setting up a government factory in the area and making more than 20 streets, mainly Jonker Street, the main street for the Chinese to move to.
