David Fray, Jacques Rouvier Schubert: Fantasia in F minor for Piano Four Hands D 940
Die Fantasie in fMoll für Klavier zu vier Händen von Franz Schubert, D 940 (Op. posth. 103) gehört zu Schuberts bedeutendsten Kompositionen für mehrere Klavierspieler und zu seinen wichtigsten Klavierkompositionen überhaupt. Schubert komponierte das Werk im Jahr 1828, also in seinem letzten Lebensjahr, und widmete es seiner Schülerin, Karoline von Esterházy, in die Schubert heimlich verliebt war. David Fray spielt das Stück hier gemeinsam mit Jacques Rouvier, der sein Lehrer am Pariser Conservatoire war.
