Calliophis maculiceps Thailand

Calliophis maculiceps is a small spotted coral snake found all over Thailand. These snakes prefer living in the dirt and under leaves and wood. They are very small, and their head is so small that it probably could not inflict a good bite on a human being unless it caught you just right. There have been no cases of envenomation causing death by this snake that I could find in the literature. If you know of a case, please let me know so I can update this.
