Filmed at Over Stowey, Bridgwater, Somerset. Various shots of Collie dogs. L, S of group of Collies running in a countryside setting with a kennel worker. L, S of lots of Collies walking along a country road with a man and a woman. The King of the Kennel Mountshannon Blue Splendour is featured. The dog stands on a basket and is groomed. C, U of the dog. The Rev. T. Salter (presumably the owner of the dogs) is seen with the dog he and his wife ( ) stand by the dog and she shakes the dogs paws. Three show dogs are presented: Janet O Mountshannon, Mountshannon Magnetic and Patience O Mountshannon. We see them in various poses including one C, U of each of the dogs heads. Nigger is a dog who helps the postman. The dog runs down some wooden stairs and runs up to a man in a suit (who doesn t look much like a postman) the dog takes a letter from the man and runs along with it in his mouth.
