Plein Air Painting: Early Spring River with Jessica Henry Gray

Hello everyone Spring is quickly approaching and I am certain you are just as eager to get your brushes flying as I am We are in that time of year where one day it s gloriously warm and the next day you re back to digging out your scarf and coat This was such a lovely day and I was happy to come down to this river and paint this study with you. In this video I am sharing my process of breaking down the scene, working through the thumbnail sketch, blocking in the scene, taking extra time to concentrate on values, these unique colors and light movement.
