It s been a very exciting journey since I first watched Mr. Kwon s infamous YouTube clip, Korean Drummer Steals The Show. Inspired by his unique drumming, I directed a short documentary film about Mr. Kwon titled A Drummer s Passion and it screened at 5 film festivals across North America. Last year, we hosted the inaugural Arirang Korea Smartphone Film Festival in Toronto and asked Mr. Kwon to play a couple of songs as an opening of the event.
