UK must listen carefully as army chief warns public could face conscription, says Tobias Ellwood

Former defence secretary Tobias Ellwood has warned conscription could be a possibility in Britain as authoritarian states exploit our timidity on the global stage. Speaking to Sky s Kay Burley, the Tory MP warned the UK has become too complacent, adding that there is a 1939 feel to the world right now.
