Andrew Bolt admits he almost resigned over Voice proposal

Sky News host Andrew Bolt has revealed he almost resigned over the Indigenous Voice to Parliament proposal as he had lost faith in Australians. Over Christmas, I told my wife Id have to resign this year because I couldnt understand this country anymore, Mr Bolt said. He said at the time polls revealed nearly twothirds of Australians backed the proposal as major corporations poured millions of dollars into the Yes campaign. No one dared say No of course, the bullying was so bad but then something amazing happened. Over the past year, the polls have shown that the Voice went from twothirds support to now approaching twothirds against. Mr Bolt said he has found the tide change inspiring as it shows Australians cant be bought off with money or frightened by bullying.
