Thai Officials Help 6 Baby Elephants Stuck in Mud
Officials in Thailand had to work together to save six baby elephants that got stuck in a mud pit. It happened in a national park 100 miles outside of Bangkok. The playful pachyderms wandered into the mud and then couldn t get out on their own. Officials from the Department of National Parks had to create a ramp of sorts to help them climb out. They took pickaxes to the edge of a pond and created a slope for the elephants to walk up. Mara Montalbano has more.
