Window Dressing (1962)
Molesey, Surrey. Item about a workshop in Molesey, near Hampton Court where shop models are made. We see the head of a model with the eyes moving left to right. Next we see a clay moulded head, with the sculptor artist, dressed in traditional clothes white smock coat, beret, thin moustache (must be set up). He makes the finishing touches to the hair. We then see liquid poured into a cast or mould. A man lifts another cast and takes out the model bust, and examines it. Next we see a head being sprayed, and eyebrows are painted on. A man adjusts the wig of another model, which is seated on a chair. The model is dressed in a white leotard, He picks it up, still in its fixed sitting position and carries it to a display of models.
