On the 22nd May 1944 the young aspiring and talented tenor Freddy Cocozza, later to become known as Mario Lanza, recorded several arias for his good friend and supporter Maria Margelli. Margelli, who was private secretary to basso Ezio Pinza at some stage was a big supporter of Lanza. Recorded at the Melotone Studios, New York. With piano accompaniment. Restored 2023 (mono)
