Hello everyone :D While the British aviation industry is remembered for its highly innovative but often commercially unsuccessful airliners such as the Vickers VC10 and Hawker Siddeley Trident, for the past 56 years a small firm based out of the Isle of Wight has been creating a series of regional airliners that have seen work all over the world, this company being BrittenNorman. Despite a turbulent financial record that has seen the company go bankrupt multiple times, the BrittenNorman firm continues to provide the aviation industry with their models to this day, their most famous product being the flexible and efficient BN2 Islander of 1965.
