FATHER BROWN Series 9 Release Set for January 2022: Mark Williams, Sorcha Cusack, Jack Deam Return
Hey, guys Great news for Mark Williams fans as BBC revealed that Series 9 of Father Brown is finally back to filming. Series 9 will premiere on BBC One in the beginning of 2022, almost exactly two years since the release of the eighth season. Last year, production of new episodes of Father Brown was put on indefinite hold due to the COVID situation, and the crew was able to resume filming only in June 2021. Series 9 of Father Brown will contain ten 45minute episodes, and will also include a special episode, set on New Years Eve, to mark the shows milestone 100th episode. In the 100th episode, titled The Red Death, Lady Felicia and her husband will host a lavish masked New Years ball in 1954, which will end with the murder of the Minster of Defence, Sir Charles Hakeworth. 61year old British actor and comedian Mark Williams will be back to reprise the role of the titular character.
