Emily Hackett Handle

The Handle music video was shot by Emily and her husband Mikey Reaves, and animated, edited by theirgood friend Bo Rinehart, all while in quarantine. Bo, who recently started a creative direction, branding company called Yosemity, also directed the footage via Facetime. We printed out 7 frames for every second of the video onto cardstock, explained Bo. In all, I hand painted over 1500 frames with acrylic and pastels. Each frame was then photographed with an IPhone and inserted back into the video.
