There is a confusing issue regarding the Xiao, Da classifcation of Shaolin sets. Like Xiao Hong Quan and Da Hong Quan, Da Tong Bi Quan, Xiao Tong Bi Quan or like in this case Xiao Pao Quan, Da Pao Quan or even sometimes just Pao Quan. As I understand it it is an relatively modern classifaction in case of Shaolin sets. Sometimes it refers to the length of the form.
