90ft cliff dive Red Bull Cliff Diving in La Rochelle

Andrey Ignatenko of the Ukraine was the winner of the first stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving Series 2009. A cheering crowd of 30, 000 spectators welcomed the world s best high divers at the series kick off event in the French city of La Rochelle. Diving from a 90 foot platform on Saint Nicolas Tower, windy conditions and 60F (16C) water challenged the 13 participants to compete at their highest level.
