Giant Panda Cub Asleep in First Public Appearance in Malaysia

A threemonthold giant panda cub, the offspring of giant pandas Xing Xing and Liang Liang, made its first public appearance on Tuesday at the Giant Panda Conservation Center of the Zoo Negara in Malaysia. The cub, yet to be named, was lying prone nearly motionless. It kept sleeping, but opened eyes once in a while. Many visitors were attracted by the cute animal and busy taking photos of it.
