First Chinese principal dancer in NYC Ballet history hopes to inspire more Asian performers

The 30yearold who was born in Chinas southern Guangdong province, says he still finds it unbelievable each time he hears his name announced as the US troupes topranked performer. Chan hopes his experience in one of the foremost dance companies in the world will inspire more Asians to pursue professional ballet careers.
