This is one of the very few unofficial films from East Berlin. Most existing shootings before the German reunification are propaganda films from the government of the time (Erich Honecker). In 1987, 88 I was booked during 4 months as a performer (juggler) in EastBerlin at the famous musichall of EastGermany and USSR, the FriedrichstadtPalast. It was forbidden to photograph or to film in EastBerlin but me as a westperformer I had some liberties. I owned a good video camera for that time and I filmed around in EastBerlin.
