The video shows how easy it is to install micropiles: pressuregrouting plant and drilling rig are connected, the hollow steel bar acts as drilling rod. Installation is carried out using rotary percussive drilling while injecting a drilling, flushing fluid. The drilling rod is easily extended with couplers. Once the required depth has been reached, dynamic pressure grouting with a grout suspension starts. Further excavation can begin as soon as the anchors and shotcrete facing of a section have cured. Stable excavation shoring is thus built up step by step.
