This is the first collection of older Swedish joking songs ever released. The material has been gathered partly from old manuscripts, and partly from recording archives at Svenskt Visarkiv and the Swedish Radio. Skämtvisor från fem sekel consists of 60 minutes of musical examples of 22 songs, and a songbook indited by Eva Danielson and Märta Ramsten, with melodies and lyrics to 50 songs. released January 1, 1989
