In this video I listen to some letter s sent home by German Army troops from the Eastern Front in WW2 where they attacked the Soviet Union and were ultimately defeated and chased back into Germany where they surrendered unconditionally in 1945. These letters tell an important tale from soldiers who actually lived and died on these front lines.
