According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, 60 centimeters of snow fell in the prefectural capital of Hokkaido in a day, which is a record. In two days, the accumulated snow has already reached 133 cm. For the first time in eight years, the snow depth exceeded 100 cm. The snowfall peaked on February 6th.
