Brazil Kids Ballet Dreams, Short Doc

Brazils Bolshoi ballet school makes poor kids dreams come true. Founded in 2000 in the city of Joinville in Santa Katarina state in partnership with Moscows Bolshoi theatre, its the only Bolshoi academy outside of Russia. The school offers the highest level of Russian classical ballet training to Brazilian kids from the toughest backgrounds. For in the countrys favelas, there are some boys whose passion isnt football but the most sophisticated form of dance. If they make it through the final tryouts, then Brazils Bolshoi ballet school will provide them with full scholarships and more, so they can immerse themselves in their art, and turn from nohopers into professional dancers who lift their families out of poverty.
