Sabine Sauvant Compagnie: To The Music Hit Makers Compilation (1978)
Sabine Sauvant is the younger sister of German singer Heidi Brühl and was discovered by Ralph Siegel in the early 70s. She had a string of unsuccessful singles, including a German remake of ABBA s Mamma Mia, until she was signed by Boney M. s record label Hansa and assigned to work with producer Tess Teiges (real name: Manfred Alois Segieth), better known as the 80s popstar Fancy. To The Music HitMakers was a 1977 single, inspired by The Ritchie Family s popular 1976 hit The Best Disco In Town. An LP followed in 1978, including other Tess productions such as Red Face and Claudia Field, the latter being a muchused backing vocalist in Munich under the name of Claudia Schwarz. I have expanded the original album with Sabine Sauvant s Casbah In Cairo single, Leonardo Planetary Vision s We Fly To Andromeda, Red Face s 1980 single, and some Bsides. 00:00 Sabine Sauvant Compagnie: To The Music HitMakers Parts I + II 10:43 Sabine Sauvant: Casbah In Cairo 1
