Read the feature on NOWNESS Director Samantha Casolari talks about Flex (aka Flexing), a dance style out of Brooklyn, and the Dream Ring team who are bringing it to a new level: The film was shot in the Brooklyn neighborhood of BedStuy, where the majority of the Flexn Dream Ring crew is from. We shot on a really hot day at the end of August, and the title, Ophion, comes from the Greek word for In Greek mythology, Ophion was a primordial serpentine god and husband of the Titan queen, Eurynome, who created him by dancing. They are both involved in the creation of the universe.
