Massive fire destroys St. Paul hotel and apartment project under construction

A massive fire that could be seen for miles has severely damaged or destroyed a construction project that included a hotel and luxury rental apartments near Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Flames could be seen leaping up into the sky for miles, and residents of neighboring community found charred remnants of the project in their front yards.
