The magnificent Steve Priest, bassist with Sweet, talks to a somewhat patronising radio presenter in 1972, following the release of Wig Wam Bam. Times and cultures have changed, so some of the comments may seem a bit off now. However, fact remains that Sweet were one of the greatest rock bands of the era, and shamefully neglected and underestimated because of their glam and bubblegum associations.
