Watch Stand (2000 year old bog oak)

A short video of making a watch stand from bog oak. I ve had this piece of bog oak for a few years now and all that time it s been waiting for an idea. . My friend told me I should make a watch stand and that was it. . I have a beautiful Original Grain watch with rosewood inlays so this will be the place to keep it. . I started by sanding the sides which were previously cut of with a bandsaw. I hot glued the piece to the robot table and milled excess wood leaving the ellipse which will hold the watch. I trac
