Beading Globally Necklace, 1 Double Layer Sterling LOTUS Necklace in Cubic Right Angle Weave
I love learning beading techniques from other cultures. Design ideas, too. In this video, I show you how this Double Layer Sterling Silver Lotus Necklace I made years ago participates in beading ideas from America, Africa and China. for this necklace, I used 4mm sterling silver beads that I oxidized myself using boiling liver of sulphur. And a custom sterling magnetic clasp, cast to my specifications. American Design Inspiration, American Beading Technique There s only 1 technique in this necklace: cubic right angle weave. Cubic right angle weave was first pioneered by American artist David Chatt, who s created amazing pieces with it. Here s a link to his website prepare to be amazed.
