Liquids, Smoke and Soap Bubbles Ephemeral user interfaces

Tanja Doring describes the installation she (and Albrecht Schmidt) presented at TEI 10, where the user must gently manipulate soap bubbles (sometimes filled with smoke) to interact with a computer. This unique interface is meant to provoke thought about the durability, control and materiality of user interfaces.
